On the first episode of The Assignment: Horror Podcast, John, Becca, and Jerry assign Richard for a first time viewing a 1972 blaxploitation horror classic in the form of Blacula.

Blacula has long been a much maligned and misunderstood horror classic; often the victim of people assuming it’s a parody due to the name and the primary two genres it blends. William Marshall’s Prince Mamuwalde (Blacula) is in fact one of the great big screen vampires in horror history.

Will Richard see it that way? Listen in as John, Becca, and Jerry discuss their longtime love of the film as well as some trivia about the film and Richard gives his opinion as a first time viewer of this quarter century old film.
