We have two shows for you this week. First up is the classic not Hammer not Amicus but often confused by many as being their work, the Granada Films and Benmar Productions classic, 1972’s Horror Express. Then, we give you the wild, the crazy, the unpredictable WTF classic, Ken Russell’s 1988 masterpiece of the insane, Lair of the White Worm.
Now, this is usually where I talk about the films and get to the “what does Richard think” bit. I gotta tell yah, you may not care what Richard thinks this week. Well, at least not when it comes to Lair of the White Worm. Why? Because I think you’ll be more interested in hearing the opinion of the special guest on that episode. Ladies and gentlemen, a man who has for decades now created and continues to create amazing stories. Bane’s daddy, the one and only Chuck Dixon.
So, you know what? Let’s just let you get straight to the shows.
Horror Express (1972)
Lair Of The White Worm (1988)
A huge thank you goes out to Issac Cain and Sean Burnham for really killing it on these episodes while covering for an absent Jerry. Hopefully, the Commonwealth of Virginia settles down and stops creating issues for various members from some of Virginia’s law enforcement agencies.
